Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed its all-new modular, multi-energy NU_IQ platform, set to underpin a fresh lineup of SUVs in India. The company previewed four concept models—Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT, and Vision.X—signaling the next generation of petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric SUVs designed with all-wheel-drive capabilities and top-tier NCAP safety ratings.
Mahindra Vision.T Concept
The Vision.T carries forward the legacy of the iconic Thar, India’s most popular off-roading SUV. This rugged concept features quad-LED DRLs, exposed hinges, flared arches, all-terrain tyres, and off-road-ready bumpers. Inside, it boasts premium materials and modern tech, with multiple powertrain options including an electric variant. Off-road specs include approach/departure/breakover angles of 28°/34.9°/28.2° and a penta-link rear suspension.

Mahindra Vision.SXT Concept
The Vision.SXT is a pickup derivative of the Vision.T, featuring a double-cab cargo bed, structural roll bars, chunky off-road tyres, and a rugged, imposing design. Measuring 3,990–4,320 mm, it will support petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains with all-wheel-drive for extreme terrains. Production is expected around 2027.

Mahindra Vision.S & Vision.X Concepts
The Vision.S is a compact Scorpio-inspired SUV with a 2,665 mm wheelbase, squared wheel arches, and modern dual-display interiors. Powertrains may include 1.2L turbo petrol or 1.5L diesel engines with manual or automatic options.

The Vision.X is a sporty sub-4m crossover with fastback styling, aero alloys, and advanced tech inside. Both models are slated for a potential 2027 launch, offering AWD options and 5-star NCAP safety ratings.

With the NU_IQ platform, Mahindra aims to redefine SUV versatility in India, promising ruggedness, modern tech, and eco-friendly powertrain options across its next-generation lineup.
